Differences between seamless hoods and hoods with seam

Left: with seam Right: seamless

The difference is in the top of the hood (roof) – is it made of 1 whole piece of fabric or is it divided?
The hood with seam is made by dividing, that’s why it is possible to construct the top three dimensionally more easily and we can improve the fitting.
When folding the hood, the seam has a spring-like effect and that’s why creases don’t appear easily.
In the case of covering with one piece of seamless fabric, shrinking can be suppressed.

Seamless / Type-A

The whole design looks neat.
The window is acrylic with zipper.
Only vinyl is being used.

With seam / Type-B

The style is almost the same as in the case of Mazda’s genuine one for NA.
Only fabric is being used.

Seamless / Type-C

The rear is set up with glass window.
Compared to the genuine one the whole design is simple.
There is no flap on any side of the glass window.
In the case of the glass window there is no ugly molding, so the design is refined.

Only fabric is being used.

With seam / Type-D

The shape is almost the same as in the case of Mazda’s genuine one for NB.
Only vinyl is being used.

With seam / Type-E

The shape is almost the same as in the case of Mazda’s genuine one for NB.
Only cloth is being used.
