Hydrorush Adjuster for NA6CE/NA8C.

This is an introduction of MARUHA's original products of HLA (Hydrorush Adjuster) used in NA6CE and NA8C.

Na-based roadster adopts a lifter with hydraulic and automatic adjustment valve clearance.
This is called an HLA (hydrorush adjuster).

１）Causes of HLA noise

It is a very convenient product because it automatically adjusts to no contact with hydraulic pressure without adjusting valve clearance at the time of installation, but it may cause noise from various factors such as long-term use, hard driving, long cycle of oil change, use of low grade oil, etc.

２）Expensive MAZDA genuine products

Since it is attached to 16 valves, it becomes 16 HLA. Among them, if even one problem occurs, a sound is generated, but it is difficult to identify, and in basic maintenance, all points are basically exchanged.
However, the mazda genuine HLA is expensive at a unit price of 6,790 yen (excluding tax / as of March 2022), and if you have 16 of them, it will cost a total of 108,640 yen (excluding tax).

３）Maruha Original

Our original HLA has the same performance as genuine and is set at an affordable price.
The application is exactly the same, replaced by the genuine HLA, and can be used as it is.

４）HLA Weaknesses and Responses

上記１）でもご案内した通り、手作業でのバルブクリアランスをせずとも、エンジン油圧を使って自動調整する便利なアイテムなのですが、NBからは採用されておりません。 NBは、シム式となり、クリアランスを手作業で調整する手間の掛かる方式。 しかし、高回転でも追従性、バルブ上部の重量軽減化（高回転では有利）、など利点は＝性能向上にも繋がります。

その上、長期に渡る耐久性、あるいはハードドライビングへの不向き、加えて高額な価格設定となり、なかなか判断に苦慮する状況です。

対応として
*高額であっても純正HLAに交換する
*MARUHAオリジナルHLAを使い、コストセーブを図る
*MARUHA　Fカム+ソリッドリフター化を図り、乗り易さを損なわず性能もUPさせる

５）分解、洗浄はお勧め致しません

HLAは本来メーカー側は非分解品として販売しております。
これを中央のプランジャー部を引き抜き、内部を洗浄して再度組み上げることを試みる方もおられます。
しかし、不具合の原因が洗浄で解消できる程簡単ではなく、不安定な作業であり、これで絶対に異音が解消されるというものでもありません。
HLAの交換にはカムカバー、タイミングベルト、クランク角センサー、IGコイル、カムホルダー+カムを外してようやく取り外せるものです。
気軽に交換ができるものではありません。
無駄な時間や工賃を費やす可能性がある工法はMARUHAでは採用しておりません。

シンプルな基本整備がやはり安定していると考えます。
